Bill Self has been a Basketball coach for more than 50 years. Bill Self was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma State, United States on the 27th of December, 1962. Bill had a net value of around $10 million as at December 11 2023. Bill is the son of Kansas freshman sensation Andrew Wiggins was his coach in 2013. Self spent the next three years (1998-2000) at Tulsa, where he compiled the Tulsa record of 74-27. Self served as the head coach for Tulsa's Golden Hurricane in consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (1999 and 2000). Self directed his team of Golden Hurricane in 1999-2000 to their first Elite Eight. He also established a record for the school with a record of winning 32 games. As a coach at the college level, Self coached Kansas University in 2012 to the NCAA Championship. Naismith Colleges' Coach of 2012 was his award. The following year the coach won four times the Big 12 Award. He married Cindy Self in 1989. Tyler was his child, and Lauren is Lauren's daughter. Self was born in the city of Okmulgee in Oklahoma, where his father was the girl's basketball coach at nearby Morris High School. The basketball player was granted scholarship to go to Oklahoma State University. He earned the honor of being a letter-winner for the entire four seasons he played. He received the degree of bachelor's in the field of business in 1985, and the master's degree in sports administration in 1989, both at Oklahoma State. Self became the head basketball coach in Illinois's program on June 9, 2000. Self's former head coach Lon Kr ger, was a former coach who been fired from Illinois recently to become the Atlanta Hawks NBA Head Coach.
